GB7 CONSTITUTION

1. The name of the organization will be “Game Base 7.” Hereafter referred to as “GB7”. The purpose of GB7 is to be threefold:

1. To engage in gaming of any form, with the exclusion of gambling.
2. To promote the interest and provide instruction in gaming and associated activities.
3. To assist members in locating and forming groups to game with.

1. Membership in GB7 will be open to everyone with an interest in gaming.

2. Each member will be entitled to one vote.

1. The Governing body will be the “Board of Directors”. The Board of Directors will consist of seven or more elected members, The Officers (defined) below and 3 or more Directors at large. The Officers of GB7 are:

1. President.
2. Vice President.
3. Treasurer.
4. Recording Secretary

1. The Constitution and By-Laws of GB7 will be adopted by a majority vote of the members at the Annual meeting.

2. The Constitution will be amended by the following process.

1. An amendment will be presented to the membership at large if the Board of directors receives
   1. Petition by 1/3 of all members,
   2. Petition by 2/3 of the Board of Directors.
2. Said Petition will be presented in the next Newsletter, a ballot will accompany said article.
3. The Petition will come to vote within 90 days of Publication.
4. The Petition will be adopted upon a 2/3 vote of the membership at large, or by a majority vote of the members at the Annual meeting.

1. Game Base 7 may authorize Local Chapters.

2. Local Chapters must have a minimum of 10 GB7 members on the last day of the year.

3. Local Chapters must petition the Board of Directors for recognition and approval, which will be granted by a simple majority.

4. Local Chapters are independent in the following concerns:

1. Any name may be chosen, but must be in good taste.
2. Membership as a Local Chapter does not require any additional dues to GB7.
3. Chapters may establish dues for their chapter if they desire.
4. Chapters may establish independent By-laws for themselves, providing the Constitution and By-laws of GB7 are not violated in any way.

5. Local Chapters have additional rights as follows. They may:

1. Request funding to promote themselves and GB7
2. Sponsor events on behalf of GB7
3. Request representation on the Board of Directors.

1. In case of Dissolution, whatever funds are contained in the treasury at the time will be used to satisfy any outstanding debts, liabilities, or obligations of Game Base 7. The Balance of the assets, monetary and material, will be disposed of as determined by the Board of Directors, following the guidelines of the Articles of Incorporation.
